I think you're gaining muscle in place of the fat. Muscles are smaller so they're not as visible as fat (thus you look thinner and your clothes are looser) but they weigh more, so that off-sets the scale.

Yes, I assume that you are exercising. Your fat is turning to muscle mass. The muscle mass takes less space than the fat and you look better. Your clothes are looser and you are thinner, but your weight can stay the same. If you want to lose more weight, maintain the exercise and cut the food intake.

You could lose fat, but gain lean muscle weight. Muscle weight is heavier than fat weight. So perhaps you've lost "fat" inches, and your clothes fit looser, but you've replaced that fat with muscle, which would retain weight, it's just a different kind of weight.

You know....muscle weighs more than fat. Maybe you are losing the fat by replacing it with more muscle....reason being the lose clothes and looking thinner but the scale saying the same. Also, try to weigh yourself at the same time every day.

if you've been exercising, then your shedding fat and building muscle. This is a good thing. Muscle weighs more than fat i.e. if you filled a shoebox with muscle, and another with fat, the muscle shoebox would weigh more. This translates to weird fluctuations on the scale as water is also retained differently by these two types of tissue. Bottom line is to trust your waistline and your image as opposed to a scale.

I use how my clothes fit as my gage if in shape or not ,

keep in mind that muscle wieghs two times more than fat. it will take a lot of exercise to really push the weight down cause while u are exercising you are getting muscle thus at the same time making u slightly heavier.

you're doing a great job!!! your body is toning up and you are losing inches. you may find an increase in the scales as you add muscle which is heavier than fat. just stay within your weight range in the BMI.
