I'm in a wedding this weekend and I don't know what to do with my hair. It's layered, with the longest part at my collarbone and the shortest a few inches above that. When I pull it back the shorter pieces always fall out. What is a fast, easy updo that I can do with this length hair for a wedding?

Note: It's important that it be simple, because the bride is getting very fussed about anyone possibly looking better than her- for her peace of mind, it's crucial that I not look like I'm trying to show her up.

Please help!!

i would pull it back and wear a low bun or fancy ponytail so that way you don't have to worry about pulling up those little hairs at the back of your neck. you can make a ponytail or bun look really sleek and fancy with a side part and a little volume at the crown without making it look too overdone for the brides peace of mind

grab a stack of bobby pins...and get pinning. twist little bits up so they flick out and pin your fringe down or tease it up and pin it back. pin it all up and it will look simple but stylish.
