Everytime we go to the dog run, he lets every male dog mount him. Then the other day I caught him listening to Cher. Can dogs really be gay?

Sometimes dogs will mount another dog to show it is dominant. It does not matter what gender is mounting what gender. The other dogs are probably just trying to show your dog they are the boss. Hope this helps.

No, he is being submissive. In the dog world the dominant dog will mount the others to let them know they're the boss. Although there are gay animals around the world.

Yes, dogs can really be gay. Sometimes when dogs meet, the same sex mount them. That happened with my dogs, they are all girls. But that happened because they had never met. But maybe he really is gay, especially, if they lick each others faces alot, and lay on top of each other.

I think they can, my friends dog is a male bischon frise and his name is Monet... apart from that, he hates all girl dogs and gets all excited around the males. His owner is gay too.
He calls him his little gay doggie.

It is a common tendency not only in dogs but all animals during "heat" period. Whether you believe it or not, in my yard I have about 40 pigeons, during mating season, male - male, female - female mounting is very common. Once the period closes, they behave normally, with their partner.
