*** Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? ***

Now, the above states very clearly that even if you are a christian, you are NOT free from sinning. Every sin reaps death, and that's why Christ came to save. If you are a christian, and you dont' care if you sin, you're basically denying your baptism since you did not truly repent. Remember 'REPENT and be Baptised".

Anybody who teaches you otherwise is a worker of the devil.

Where exactly did your last statement come from?

I agree in part with you. A very small part but a part none the less. While there are some Christians who play being a Christian, there are a great many more who actually what it means to live for Christ.
Does this mean we never sin? No. It means that we strive to be perfect even as our Father which is in Heaven is perfect. Will we make mistakes along the way? Yes. It is part of the learning process and part of growing up. The only one who ever got it right the first time is Jesus. He is the example that we should follow and do the best we can to emmulate.

Now, as far as saying that a person has not truly repented just because they sin is an unfair and judgemental statement. Perhaps there is a greater battle going on inside of the person such as an addiction. Not everyone is able to snap out of it or come clean in an instant! Maybe you should take some time to come down to ground level and talk to people in your local jails or prisons to understand better the way of the poor and down trodden. After all, Jesus did. And if we are to be like Him... think about it.

Anyone can carelessly sin, but if you do, I doubt you were ever a Christian in the first place.

All I know is that everyone sins as evidenced by Romans 3:23 which says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

This being said, you must accept that Jesus Christ, God's son, is the atonement for your sins, and that He is the only way to find peace here on Earth, and an everlasting home in Heaven.

"worker of the devil"
What's that pay?
Is that what Bennie Hinn is hiring for?
I thought I saw an ad in the paper yesterday about that.
Hmm.

You can not "not sin". You WILL NOT be perfect. But you should try. Remember the part about being like little children.
Those who think they don't "SIN" are truly fooling themselves.
You are a man, only God is incapable of sin.

Ezekiel 18:20
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

James2:24
Ye see then how that by works a man is just

Matthew 19:16-17
"And behold, one came up to him, saying, "Teacher, what good deed must I do, to have eternal life?"
"And he said to him, "Why do you ask me about what is good? One there is who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments."
Jas 2:26
"Faith without works is Dead"

I believe the wages of sin are death, but after they take out the taxes, it's just kind of a tired feeling.

Before you go casting people off as servants of Satan, perhaps you need to get your own theology right. Perhaps you condemned the Apostle Paul as a servant of the devil? Read on, he struggled with the "flesh" also.

Romans 7:15-25 -

"For that which I do I allow not; for what I would, that do I
not; but what I hate, that I do. If then I do that which I would not, I consent to the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me ( that is, in my flesh ) dwells no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I make myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh, the law of sin. "

We are truly sinners. Even as Christians. We do not go out of our way to make provision for sin. But yet we do sin. That is why we can go to the Lord and confess those sins to Him, and he will cleanse us from unrighteousness.

We "repented" , meaning to "turn from" sin when we came to the same way of thinking as God. Meaning that we acknowledge sin as being evil, and we want to depart from sin. So we're in agreement with God that sin is wrong. We do "care" if we sin, but that certainly does not mean that we're exempt from it.

As far as baptism goes, if you will recall, the thief on the cross next to Jesus was not baptised. But yet Christ said, "Today you will be with Me in paradise". Baptism is an affirmation of your faith, not a requirement for salvation. When the Bible tells us to repent ( turn from ) and be "baptised", that means that we are publically affirming our faith in Christ. It is not a sole prerequisite for salvation. Had it been so, then the words of Christ to the thief would be invalid, and they are not.

Your words, "Anybody who teaches you otherwise is a worker of the devil." Well, I got these words straight from the Apostle Paul in the Holy Bible. Here are some words for you to ponder :

"Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whosoever you are that judge: for wherein you judge another, you condemn yourself: for you that judge do the same things. "

I think you answered your question, buddy...

For me, we can't carelessly sin. Now and then we will sin accidentally. Doesn't mean we should stop trying to live a godly life.
