Im not an expert on this but heres my suggestion:
In the reception while eating, it would be nice to play some slow songs, especially if you are having the throwing the bouquet, throwing the garter for the groomsmen, father/ daughter dance ( the father dance with the daughter then ended by the groom taking her hand to finish the song.) its really romantic i think.. and after all the wedding stuff is done you should follow it and end the party all the way with dance music to keep the guest alive.

If you like country pretty much anything Kenny Chesney or Brad Paisley will work for any time in the reception.
Snow Patrol~Chasing Cars
Alanis Morsette~Head over feet
Carrie Underwood~Young and Beautiful
Dashboard Confessional~As Lovers Go
The Fray~Look After You
James Blunt~You're Beautiful
KT Tunstal~Suddenly I See
It really depends on what your music style is, but i have a million songs listed for my wedding this summer. Feel free to email me if you wanna know some more. My list is country to todays popular music to 90's (Dawnwalker85@yahoo.com)
