its either because your developing tougher skin or your holding it wrong

assuming you hold sticks matched grip
one thing that would cause blisters is a "death grip", a normal drum stroke should allow the stick to "bounce" a death grip is hitting the drum and coming back using your own sterngth

more on technique-
if your playing correctly you should only need your thumb and index fingers to play, bascially you're throwing the stick at the drum and catching the rebound

the rest of your fingers are for support or push the stick down for more speed

try holding the sticks a little differently. you might also try using baby powder as a means of allowing the sticks to slide on the fingers, and not grab the skin. if you play pool, you'll always see the shooters powder the hands when the shoot to allow the stick to slide smoothly along the hands or between the fingers.

mabey you hands are just tired. it could also be a wart coming in if its a wart it will either be skin tone or brown. mabey you should wait about a week until you drum again your fingers probably just sore

If you're right handed it's to be expected, if you keep playing you will eventually build up hard skin to stop this happening, happens to many musicians, especially guitarists.
