And you say "I know why you're down...you missed me."
And he says "Yeah, maybe."
And then he seems happy to realize you were thinking of him earlier...(I told him I bought him a surprise!)
Is it possible that he really was missing me? We aren't dating. Only claiming "friends" right now...
Would his response of "Yeah, maybe." be revealing feelings for me or just being agreeable?????
Anyway, I definately perked up his mood just by being there. Is that indicating anything?

He probably was feeling down about something else, but you gave him an opportunity, riskless, to say something positive about you, or complement, and although he was thinking about something else, he realized the opportunity to complement, and took it.

I think that the "yeah, maybe" was just being agreeable at that moment. But I think all the rest of his responses indicate that he is looking at you with newfound interest.

Darn guys. How they can lead a girl around with their vague remarks. If he liked you as more than a friend, here was a golden opportunity to ask you for a date. At this point he either considers you as a friend or too shy/scared to say anything more for now. Which is it? I don't know.....I'm just as confused as you are. Sorry, wish I could help.

Guys in general are really not clear when it comes to responses. He can feel one thing but say another. My guess is he likes you but pretends he doesn't in his response. Just give him positive body language and he will come out sooner or later.

possibly.....if you make him happy then he might like you in that way! But be careful to assume anything just in case it isn't there...just be really nice to him all the time and stuff and who knows he just might like you too and ask you out :D If you really make him happy, then he probably does like you :D Just be careful not to assume too much.....all the best to you and your guy!! ;)
