It sometimes takes my son an hour to drink a whole cup of milk. So I would think it could be left out an hour. I usually dump his cup out after that.

I wouldn't leave it out very long. I mean think about it, do you like drinking hot milk.....or better yet, milk on the verge of curdling? If the baby isn't using it, just stick it back in the fridge and if he/she wants it again in a while you can microwave it a few seconds and shake it up well!

I'd say about an hour... The best thing to do is put it back in the fridge, let it get cold again and then smell it. If it smells ok then its fine.
I smell my milk before I use it everytime.
