Red hair is in your family somewhere,my mum had red hair and now my bro's hair is black but beard is red and he has 2 kids that have red hair

My father's beard is the same.. But we have a lot of Irish blood. perhaps there is a bit of Irish in your family as well

My brother is the same. Red is just a shade of brown. It is not that rare. If it disturbs you just stay clean shaven or dye it to match your hair
