I had a Dodge Neon stolen in September of 2006. It was recovered 4 days later. The police caught the alleged car thief because he ran a red light and they made a routine traffic stop. They arrested the driver and then called me to pick up my vehicle. The police then mailed me paperwork with the criminal's name, and indicating I would be notified if the guy who was arrested was out on bail, or if he was going to court. I have heard nothing from police or the courts since then. Do you think this guy is really sitting in jail this long and hasn't gone to court yet? I would think the police would want me to testify in court eventually. Should I expect to hear anything after this much time has passed?

Well, my first thought is that the guy who stole your car might be sitting in jail, but he's probably already had his day in court. I'd contact the court during normal business hours--give them the case number if you have it, as well as the guy's name--and ask them what the resolution of the case was. They should be able to tell you the guy's sentence. As for you appearing in court to testify, that's not really necessary unless you witnessed the guy stealing your car.

they might seek your automobile and not utilising a warrant while you're placed under arrest. i do no longer think of that they might basically rigidity your automobile. many times they call a 2 truck and have it impounded because of the fact then you certainly've the towing can charge and a cost to get it out of impound. As for the communique that got here approximately, in case you have the entire tale and that's one hundred% precise what you pronounced, i think of that ought to be entrapment. i understand that they might fake to be little ones and stuff yet i think of which you ought to assert you will try this and this and convey this i do no longer think of that they might deliver that up. i'm no longer constructive regardless of the undeniable fact that. i understand with like drug stings they ought to get the guy to assert they choose crack or despite they might't ask them in the event that they like it. i do no longer understand. Regardless your buddy would not have been chatting with a teenager or a baby anyhow becaue needless to say if he's being arrested for it he's basically too previous to be talking together with her. Get him help. i do no longer care who started it if he weren't a pervert he might have pronounced no and disregarded the guy.

Isn't the car evidence. They have your report. It takes time to resolve it.
