Raw Green chilli or even red with all the seeds and the juice is VERY VERY HOT!! be sure to get to the very top of the chilli ( thats the best and the hottest part!)...some of the hotness gets lost when it is cooked, so it wont be as hot as RAW chilli..

"Capsaicinoids are found primarily in the pepper's placenta--the white "ribs" that run down the middle and along the sides of a pepper. Since the seeds are in such close contact with the ribs, they are also often hot.

We found several sources that claimed a 1994 red savina habañero from GNS Spices was the hottest pepper ever tested, measuring in at an amazing 577,000 Scoville Units! However, scientists in India claim they grew the hottest chile in the world in the northeastern hills of Assam, a variety called Naga Jolokia. This pepper was tested and found to have 855,000 Scoville Units, though the methods used have been called into question.

Umm, relies upon on which chilli Pepper you're asking approximately. The are many differnet varieties of Chillis and maximum a green quicker or later jointly as they're transforming into. additionally, warm is a subjective point of view. i like Jalapeño poppers, yet i understand people who think of they're too "warm"

Fresh chillies is spicier than cooked ones as they loose a bit of flavor while being cooked.

The hottest is the habenero, the orange ones. Raw with the seeds and membranes still in place. When you loose those, you loose most of the heat.
