I'm really into photography and am in need of a new digital camera and have a limited budget. Any suggestions that you have would be great!

Canon makes the best comsumer camera in my opinion. They have really great imagine quality for their size. I would recommond them. Here are a few choices:

Slim and Small- No limit- Canon SD900
Slim and Small- $300-400 limit Canon SD800 IS (Has Imagine Stablization)
Slim and Small- $200-$300 limit- SD600 6MP

Ultrazoom- Canon S3IS (Has Imagine Stablization) 12X optical 6MP

Budget Camera- No limit- Canon A640 10MP 4X Optical Zoom
Budget Camera- Less than $300- Canon A630 8MP 4X Optical Zoom

Enutheist Camera- No Limit- ($500+) Canon G7 10MP 6X Optical Zoom

SLR- No Limit- Canon Mk-II $5000 w/o lens
SLR- $3000 - Canon 5D Full Sensor
SLR- Budget - Canon 30D
SLR- Below $1000 w/ lens kit - Canon Rebel XTi

M V is right. To get help you really have to tell what is your budget. You should say if budget is $400, $200, $100 or what.

what do you need from your camera and how much your budget?
well if you want to search it for yourself since i don't know none of the above, i recommend you to check : http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare.asp

choose the camera that you want.. if you want to go pro but still wants to learn about the camera basics you can use prosumer or DSLR like format

if you prefer to use pocket camera you can use some from canon pocket collection, the A series is good for beginner that wants to learn more about camera, it provides full manual control...

I saw a 5 megapixel Kodak at Wal Greens for $100 in today's ad paper.


ppl like my pix made on a 3 megapixel Kodak.

And I saw a great deal on SD memory cards at either office max or office depot. 1GB was $14 after rebate.

for about $200, the Nikon Coolpix S9 is great...i own it and love it

Read the ebay buying guide. There is lots of info there and you can also read reviews for cameras.

you need high speed shooting and image relevant, use canon eos400.
