My buddy just had this problem with a stupid neighbor, dogs barking all night. He bought an air horn an set it off for a few minutes everytime the dogs barked. Well the neighbor called the police an the cop knocked on his door, my buddy explained the situation, the cop laughed and went and told the neighbor next time my buddy calls, and every time thereafter, the cop will write the neighbor a ticket for the dogs barking.

Your city should have a noise ordinance. Check into it.

You don't want to break any windows or start WW3, at least not yet. Have you physically walked to your neighbor & politely inform them about their overly sensitive car alarm? They may not know how sensitive it is to its surroundings & that a neighbor doesn't work bankers hrs. If that doesn't work & you live in an apartment complex, speak with the property manager to see what you or they can do. Invest in earphones, white noise machine or have a radio on at a low volume to drown out the noise. Move your sleeping area farther away from their parking space. If all else fails after a couple of wks, call the police to inform them of the car alarm going off. Good luck!!

Call the cops, there are noise laws in almost every town, as well as nuisance laws. It's a noisy nuisance! Or try getting the neighbors together to talk to the neighbor. I know as soon as I found out my neighbor worked 3rd shift I was willing to keep myself in better check when I knew he would be sleeping. Good luck to you!

i've got in no way had that concern, yet I used to have a roommate who'd set his alarm clock to circulate off a pair hours in the previous he mandatory to get off the mattress. it would blare the radio for quite a couple of minutes in the previous he hit snooze, and then i might get a couple of minutes of peace in the previous it would commence blaring lower back.

go talk to the guy, if you can't get anywhere that way, phone the cops every time it goes off, talk to them about having your peace disturbed. You might also suggest to you neighbour, ,that with his alarm going off all the time, IF someone were to b actually burglarizing it, no one would pay attention because the D#@$ alarm is always going off. remind him of the story of the boy who called wolf.
