Mashed potatoes, rice, gravy, sweet corn, green beans, and asparagus with apple pie for dessert. Not all at once but they all go well with chicken.

In a large bowl I toss peeled and cut up in small pieces : potatoes, sweet potatoe, carrots, pumpkin, red capsicum, parsnip and small onions into a mix of olive oil, salt and rosemary. Then I put these on a baking dish and bake at 210C. I cook peas and cauliflower which I then make a cheddar cheese sauce to go with. In the baking dish that I have cooked the chicken in, I make a gravy out of the juices with plain flour and the water from the cauliflowers.
