i know this one guy that likes me for about a year almost and he asked me to be his girlfriend . i dont no what too say . i cant decide . i'm scared that other people will judge us. and he's been asking me since last summer . this time ; i'm not sure if i should give him a chance. can someone help me decide?

Interesting question, I would said. The first two questions you should ask to yourself, do you want a boyfriend? Are you ready for a relationship?
2) Do you want to be in a relationship with this guy or not?
3) What is your thoughts and feeling toward this guy who asking you to be his girlfriend?
4) Why would others be interesting in who is your boyfriend?
5) Do you know any thing about him and his former girlfriends. Like, is he a person like to control his companion? Is he an abuser? Is he into drugs or gangs?
6) Have the two of you hang out together and does he make you feel comfortable been around him?
7) The most important things is any relationship is what you wants (to be in a relationship or not), how you feel about the person and how this person feel about you, and enjoying been in each other company. And tell "other people" to get a life. This is your call to make and yours alone. Good luck

Since you're asking this question, the answer is obvious. No. You shouldn't be his girlfriend.
If you were in love with this guy, you wouldnt even have to ask. Your heart would yell, "YES".
You're not in love with him so you would just be wasting your time and his. You are better off remaining unattached, just in case the right guy comes along that you DO fall in love with. Being with THIS guy could ruin that from happening.
Tell him you love him as friend and you don't want to jeopardize that by being his exclusive girlfriend.
Dating could really gum up the good friendship that you have.

Well, do you like this guy at all? Dont pity him and be his gf just because he's been asking you a long time ago. Its not cool to lead someone on. Dont even think about what others think of you two if you do end up being his gf. If you like this guy, then be his gf already! If you dont like this guy, just kindly say sorry and that you just want to be friends with him.

okey gurl if hes been askn u since last summer he realli likes you..an for u to care about what people think isnt right..who cares?? why do you care neways..you two will be in the relationship not everyone else...ive always been judged on who i dated by family members even people i didnt know...u jus cant think about that..do what makes you happy becuz at the end thats all tha matters....dont miss out on a good thing trust me...goodluck

Nooooo, your just going to break his heart in the end. sounds to me like your not totally attracted to him and your afraid of the reactions your going to get being seen with him, your embarrased.

if you like him yes, but it sounds like you don't b/c you are concerned about what other people think. if you really like eachother, what other people think makes no difference.
also, don't go out with him just b/c you feel sorry for him, it will just make him feel worse than just being told no
