can a debt collector find you with only your name, email and old address?

they have no other information on me. they dont have my phone number, ssn, none of my credit card #'s, they dont have a pic of me, they dont know how i even write. they probably have my old debit card number thats about it.
this collection is not from a credit card company.

No I don't believe they can find you without your s.s #, They may look up utility records online and find a name that matches yours in a file somewhere, but without your s.s# they would have a hard time proving you are the correct "john doe", However if you left a forwarding address, then you could be tracked down that way. These day's ,your name means almost nothing, you ARE your s.s#

A debt collector probably has your social security number and a current credit report. With all of those thing put together it's possible to find pretty much anybody. The internet is an amazing tool.

Yes. You should pay your bill. You wouldn't have to worry about the need to hide. Even without any of that highly obtainable information, you can be found.
