What I see is quite beautiful but a little daunting...
It is in the shape of an arc and is sparkling like crystals... I don't know how else to describe it. There is no pain.
It has happened three times in 1 1/2 years. The last two occurred withing a couple of months of each other.
Has anybody ever experienced this? Or know somebody that has?

It lasts about 15 to 30 minutes.

I suggest that you see you eye doctor. I had this but it lasted for days & when I finally saw him I had to have lazor eye surgury because I had a detaching retina. This can cause blindness. I was lucky if I had waited another week the retina would have completely detached & I would have been perminatly blind. When it fully detaches you can't fix it.

this is a precurser to a migraine. Not all migraines are painful. What you are experiencing is an 'aura'. Sometimes this happens with sinus problems also, as the sinuses press on the eye when sinuses are inflamed.
