I'm talking about things that are represented to us on more than one occasion, like hearing a song (with a special meaning) you've never heard before (and would never normally listen to) 3 times in a period of 2 weeks....(my own experience :) or seeing anything out of the norm of your usual day to day routine... I want to hear about others experiences with signs (that is if you even believe signs exist.) Could me hearing this unfamiliar song with a hopeful message 3 times (all randomly) be just a coincidence, or is it a sign from up above telling me that things are going to get brighter?

When I notice a significant amount of coincidences in a short time span....I assume that I am paying attention.
It's possible that signs are everywhere, all of the time and we simply don't notice them often enough.
I think it's a matter of intention.

It depends on how you process the information; when I practiced ritual magic, I paid close attention to signs and convergences; now I am a confirmed airhead and I take coincidences to be a sort of "fractal surface" chaotic pattern that is completely normal no matter how weird it gets. Patterns often recur, and I don't react as strongly to these recurrences as I used to. I often hear references to really off-the-wall words or phrases 2 or 3 times in a day. The other day, my husband decided he had to have a Led Zeppelin freakout on his car stereo (unknown to me, as I was not present); independently of this, I chose a Jimmy Page icon for Answers to comply with the rock n' roll theme...it is slightly unusual but I don't assign it cosmic significance unless it has real ramifications. If Jimmy Page shows up on my doorstep, there's something going on, but I think that is highly unlikely.
The most unnerving sign I remember is when I worked at a technical research lab. I went to the front of the building to send a fax, and I noticed a crow outside the glass doors. He tapped the glass three times, slowly and seemingly deliberately. That was weird. Luckily it didn't recur!

I am not one who believes in coincidences. Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes God can talk to you through music or any of the things you mentioned.

You're looking for omens. You're an omen seeker. Some people see meaning in clouds and tea leaves but most people just see clouds and tea leaves. You're just more susceptible to seeing things that aren't really there.
