I'm female,teenager, 5'5 ; 110 pounds

morning:
-made pancakes (1cup flour w/ 1 egg, 1/2 cup milk) w/ quarter size amount of butter & like "business card size" amount of reduced calorie syrup (mmmm!!)
-cup of orange juice
-cup of milk (separate from pancake mix)

snack: small handful of trailmix(almonds, berries, cereal)

lunch/dinner (around 2 o' clock)salad (plain: w/ just a 2 spoonfuls of avocado)
regular "cereal bowl size" of soup (w/ fish, veggies, crab)
3/4 cup of Kashi cereal w/ nonfat milk

that was it for the day. next meal is breakfast @ 5:30

* all milk used was nonfat (yes, the water tasting one)
WAS this too much?

I would recommend less sugar and white flour and more veggies and whole grains.

your daily intake:
pancakes: sugar and while flour
OJ: sugar
Milk: good!

salad: what type of lettuce? the darker the better.
avocado: good fat
soup: good-- only source of protein though
cereal and milk: good

Thus, you really have no protein or veggies, which provide the most nutrients and you consume excessive amounts of sugar and starches (carbs).

Try this:
Breakfast: eggs or plain oatmeal with fruit, nuts, and honey. Lunch: Leafy greens salad with fat (oil or avocado) and protein (tofu, chicken, cheese, etc).
Dinner-- more protein, a whole grain starch (couscous, quitoa, lentils, etc. ) and veggies.

Don't forget small snacks inbetween your small meals. You will stay satisfied and energized, which will make you happy, healthy, and less likely to binge on sugar.

Note: I'm hypoglycemic and lactose intolerant, so my ideas may be lacking in the dairy department!!!

i would be starving if i ate that. add some more snacks and a meal/ if you're on a diet i suggest you eat 3 meals and snack during them just space them out evenly and the more meals you eat (small ones) help keep your metabolisom running instead of stopping and starting. it works plus some exercise. not too much. just be yourself, don't over do it. ther'es nothing wrong with milk that tastes like milk. i think 2% is best though but for vitamins and stuff whole is best.

Don't be so insecure about yourself! When I was 5'5 when I was 13 I weighed 120 and people called me a bean. You are fine! You eat pretty damn healthy and in reasonable amounts. Don't worry, please don't I know from experience it ruins your life. Just eat healthy and in moderation (you probably aren't eating enough if you are worried like this). Don't worry untill you've grown up. When you're a teenager you're growing and your body seems to pop out of no where. This is fine. Your weight is fine. Just keep eating (healthy)!

it's only too much if you're on a starvation diet. Your body needs more calories, you're a growing teenager. 5'5" and only 110 lbs? You can eat healthy foods, with sensible portions but you are missing a meal there. eat more protein, more veggies.

You did not eat enough. You only ate two meals and only one snack. You need to eat 3 meals a day and a snack between each meal. ALso you didn't eat enough veggies or fruit.
