At best, I skim them. Since virtually all of them are copied-and-pasted from some website, I'd rather people just post a link.

A lot of times I do. Unless they start off rude or just a bunch of mumbo jumbo. I read long answers that I don't necessarily agree with as well. I like to get the true feeling from where individuals are coming from with their opinions and beliefs.

Yeah, when I want a real answer to a question even worth asking. Why ask a question that takes 20 seconds to look up on Google? That is just lazy.

Well, maybe even limit how many of those long answers you get per visit.(like 1 !)...but, yes. If I am interested in the question, I'll read what everybody says.

I skip the long answers. A word limit might be a good idea.

If I can tell that the person actually wrote them and didn't just cut and paste from some website or something, then yeah, I do read them.

I do try to read some of them .There are times when the real answer is in the middle or at the end.

You're right. I almost never read the YAWnsers. I take some special delight in skipping the ones that include tons of biblical quotes.

I don't read them. Especially if it's just one huge bible verse after another that's been copied and pasted. I would rather people give me their own opinion rather than copy it off the web.
