I measure healthy body size by the body mass index. It takes a calculation using your height and weight. Try this page http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/ it has a ton of information and a calculator.

For somebody with a small framed body I'd say the recommended weight for your height would be somewhere between 123-136lbs. If however your body frame is on the larger side you would be considered very underweight yes - you should then, if that is the case - talk to your doctor and ask how you can go about gaining some weight.
But considering you're still very young and not too far under the minimum recommendations I wouldn't worry about it too much. Eat healthily - you'll be fine. :-)

Yeah, i weighed the same thing with the same height at the same age so its cool. You eat normally, so your fine. Be glad that you have the genetics to still be skinny. Food tastes good and you'll have plenty of time to gain weight.

It's just a standard that the US compares to others that are your age and height. that's all. so if you're worried about it, don't sweat it.It's different for everyone. Especially since if you do play sports, you are heavier because of your muscles. If your Dr. insists that you need to gain weight, eat ice cream. hope that helps.

Every one is different. The "average weight" list is just a standard guideline for doctors and other health professionals to go by. If you take care of yourself, are healthy, and don't weight 95 lbs you are just fine.

hey it sounds like you are perfectly healthy. The people that are telling you that you are too thin probably are just jealous that you are thinner than them. Don't worry about it. Just continue to eat healthly and exercise.

go to this website and it tells you ABOUT what you should weigh. http://www.diet-blog.com/archives/2004/12/01/ideal_body_weight_no_such_thing.php It is okay to be a little underweight but too much is not good.
