I am going through the same situation right now so I can empathize with you. I am old fashioned and under most circumstances would prefer for the guy to do the asking. But depending on the guy some of them will not realize that you like them more as friends. If you feel you might lose him if you don't ask him, then by all means ask. Someone told me, "if he is truly your friend he will not quit being your friend just because you like him."

You do not need to just ask him out. Why don't you suggest casually that "we should go to a movie, would you like to go?" That will be much easier. If it works out then you "have a foot in the door". So give him the biggest smile of your life, listen to him, laugh at his jokes but not too much. At the end when he takes you home, say "I had a wonderful time, we should do this again". A peck on the cheek will be safe, may lead to something better later.

It is never wrong to ask a guy out. Go for it! Most guys I know are happy to get asked out.

There is nothing wrong with a girl asking out a guy, in fact a woman that knows what she wants is very sexy.

I wouldn't ask him out. Rather, I would communicate with him about how you feel about him, and then if he still doesn't get the hint...or ask you out first...THEN...ask him. I would be more patient...as a guy, I find it very hard to communicate to a girl how I really feel sometimes...so just be patient :). If it doesn't work...get over it quickly and move on quickly. Best of luck!

No, because most guys are afraid of rejection so if a girl asks them they become relieved.

If he is your best frined then he will still be your your best friend after no matter what. Just ask him if he would ever want to go out with you, and you would like to. Then if you do, fuc*king galore, if you dont, friends with benefits will have to suffice
