Be well prepared to face the consequences of what you do yourself! The thorns that you have strewn around may hurt your own feet, so be sure to keep your feet protected after you throw the thorns around! In Sanskrit (India!), there is an ancient piece of wisdom that says, 'if you throw ash up towards the sky above, and then look up, the ash is bound to fall in your own eyes and blind you and hurt your eyes!' (don't throw ash up (don't scatter thorns!), or, if you must, then wear protective glasses when you look up (protect your feet after the thorn-scattering act!)! )

It's just like you know that the action done is harmful. As it is harmful don't go forward unprepared or without thinking. Few deeds need this type of approach,.Thatz what it sounds to me....

Sort of like "what goes around, comes around".
Don't spread rumors, lies, bad deeds or anything else that you don't want coming back and hurting you.
