I usually start out with thanks or praising him, then asking for forgiveness. The I pray for what I want or need in my life, for my family, and friends, and people around the world. I feel comfort when I pray, because it is my time with the Lord, and I know he is listening to me.

When I pray I always pray sincerely. God knows everybody's heart and listens to every prayer. When I'm praying I usually feel peaceful yet a little awkward because I know I'm far from worthy of His grace and consideration. However I also know I am one of His many children and that He loves me and He hears me despite not deserving it. So I guess I fear Him yet I trust Him completely. He reveals Himself to me continuously everyday and I am grateful beyond words. Maybe that is another reason I feel a little awkward because I can't find adequate words to show my gratitude for the work He has done in my life. A person can only say thank you in so many different ways before you are repeating yourself but I still thank Him anyway. I hope this helps a little. Mostly I feel at peace.

The first thing I do is ask for His forgiveness for anything I've done since I last prayed. I try to think of anything I may not be aware of and ask Him to make me aware so I can confess and be forgiven. Then when I know I'm clean, I ask Him for whatever it is that is on my heart at the moment. If something is tugging at my heart, that is the first thing I talk to him about.
Then I ask that if what I'm praying for is not His will that I should be given the solace to accept whatever His will is. And I thank Him ahead of time for how he will answer whether it is yes, or no, or wait. I always am compelled to give Him thanks and praise when I'm in prayer because i"m so aware of how He has blessed me, especially when I'm in tune with Him and am communicating with Him.

Afterward, I always have a certainty, a peace, that everything will work out for good.

I do no type of prayer, etc.

All I do is sit here or where ever and just talk to HIM in my head. I call HIM by name, that helps alot, and then just talk. HE knows what I am thinking, what I need, what my purpose is, why I want it, etc. If I am worthy or if HE deems it okay, I get it.

If its a question, HE guides my hand to the answer or shows me in other areas. Many times I just ask and in the next few hours the answer I was looking for will just come up somewhere, a video, an answer on here, etc. Other times HE might show me number combinations over n over again, so much so that you notice it. I then scan through the bible for passages matching those numbers. The times I have seen the number bit, my answer was at that passage.

I know HE hears me and is listening cause I can feel this odd tingle. Kinda like the funny bone tingle and a chill tingle but w/ no sharpness, hard to explain.

I don't have a procedure so to speak. However, my favorite time to pray is in the morning and at night. I like to thank God for all of the blessings I receive from Him.

I also tell God what my burdens are and do my best to release them to God. Many problems I have had God has resolved. I'm Blessed!!! And feel very peaceful when I pray.

Most important, what is the purpose of praying. If it is for materialistic gain, then there is no procedure. Just go to Church/ masque/ temple etc accordingly, Pray silently, return and relax. Hope for it sincerely. If it is for repenting, please follow a procedure according to your religion. If it is for salvation, simply sit at home and meditate. That is what I do. But let me be clear I do not know whether I am religious.

God gave an example of how to pray with "The Lord's Prayer." Still, it doesn't matter how you pray, as long as you do it. Sometimes, like now, my prayers consist of four words - "Dear God, help me." When I am scared at night, like during a really bad thunderstorm, I pray over and over a prayer I learned in childhood, "Dear God, be with those who work, or wait or weep tonight, and give your angels charge over those who sleep." It really helps, because Someone is listening.

When I pray I begin my prayer with "Heavenly Father...." and I present my prayer before God. Typically I will start my prayer with thanksgiving for what He has done in my life. I try to thank Him for all the little blessings that make a difference. I then move on to any prayer request I may have.

I pray in the name of Jesus and talk to God like He's my best friend. Because He is. What do I feel when I talk to Him? Gratitude that the God of the universe desires to have a personal relationship with us and that He has provided a way through His Son for us to spend eternity with Him.

I have no procedure for praying to God. I praise Him for all His goodness and mercy and just talk to Him about what is going on in my life. I pray at bedtime, in the mornings, and anytime to feel His presence.
