Digital art can range from art that is made entirely on a computer to art that is made by hand and then computer-enhanced. Most digital art is printed out, but some is projected or otherwise put out into the world. Digital art is gaining acceptance in the art world, but some people still feel that it is not "real" art because it did not require paint and a brush. This is a big issue, and one that I cannot adequately sum up. Part of the problem is that it leads back to the question of "what is art?" If we assume that art is something you work very hard on that requires talent, digital art IS acceptable art, but by those same standards, some minimalist or expressionist works (think Jackson Pollock) are not art. If art requires working with your hands, then digital art is not art, but say, making a cake (which totally involves your hands) is. Digital art is being accepted more and more, though, and I expect it will be a big part of art in the future.

giclee is a process to make a print from a painting, done with a digital camera and computer, the results are an exact copy and can be done in large format, which can not be done otherwise...if you have large paintings or drawings it is the way to go, first copy can be expensive, a hundred to two hundred, and then the copy's can range from $30 and up depend on the size....my estimation of prices may be off as I haven't checked into it for awhile, but there are plenty of websites and places that do this..
