I bought some Viactiv multi-vitamin flavor glides for myself tonight at Walgreens because I'd like to start taking a dietary supplement to help give me the essential vitamins and minerals my body needs.

According to the directions, you take one caplet a day WITH food.

I thought of taking a caplet every morning at breakfast, however, I don't get up every morning at the same time. Some mornings I'm up at 10 to 7, other mornings I'm up at 10 after 7, and some mornings I'm up at 7:30, 8 o'clock. On the mornings I don't sub, I sleep in til 9 or 10 AM. So, I thought I'd take the vitamin capsel at the same time every night, around 9:30 PM, this way I was taking it every 24 hours like clock work. But will that really be affective in the long-run? I know many people take vitamins in the morning so the vitamin has all day to work as they work.

So, what's the verdict? When exactly is the best time to take your vitamins?

You should take in the morning or afternoon for most people. It doesn't have to be every 24hrs. Your varying times of getting up doesn't matter. If you find nausea with morning dose, take with lunch. Your stomach slows down digestion at night so I don't recommend at bedtime.

I've figured out, by experimenting on myself, that the best time to take vitamin supplements is just before bedtime with a couple of low-salt crackers or a very light snack. Evidently the vitamins can be more effective while the body is sleeping.

I could now not remember Vitamin Water a alternative. You will ought to drink extra Vitamin water as your hydration supply seeing that the water is bonded to synthetic flavorings, colorations, and so forth. If you particularly 'hate' water, check out including lemon and/or lime to supply it a few taste. But filtered water is by way of a ways the exceptional water you'll drink.

Vitamins are best taken in the morning. Around 10:00am is good. They are not needed at night (who the hell needs energy while they are sleeping). However If I know I will be having a heavy night I will also pop a pill at arond 6:00pm to help me out.

The best time to take vitamins is during the day, after a meal. Never take vitamins on an empty stomach - they will quickly passed out in your urine.
