I bought my ex- girlfriend a necklace for her birthday when we where dating .she gave it back to me a week ago . the next day gave her the pictures that she give me. you think that it was apropiate that a return her pictures.

I think you did the right thing of returning the pictures. I am sure she knew why and you might not of wanted the consent reminders of what you did have with her.

Um...its good that she gave you back the necklace. If youre not together, she shouldnt keep the material things that gave her unless you want her to keep them. If she was good to you, and you were happy when you were together, then you could tell her that you would like if she kept it. A photograph is something different. The point of being in a relationship is so both people are happy. If you were together, than you should have had fun together. The fact that you broke up shouldnt cause either one of you to be ashamed of your past relationship or want to return pictures. If you were happy, then the pictures are proof that you are a happy person, so both of you should keep some pictures. If you both want to move on from this, then you should put the pictures away so you wont be looking at them constantly and thinking of the past, but you both should keep them. I think its healthy.

yes if you two are over then yea that was probly the right thing to do at the end of a relationship its always best to give back what was given to you that makes it fair and kinda keeps a freindship not close but it does help and keeps the fighting over it away

Well, you probably did it out of anger. I see nothing wrong with giving her her pictures back. As long as you don't ever want to think about her again, it was a good idea than.

not really. it probably made her feel bad. like you just don't wanna see her no more. the necklce part to me is a sign of respect, you bought it with you own money so she was just being nice enough to return it. but you giving her back the pics, i don't know.

i never heard of giving gifts back, but mabey the pictures, yes.

I would have kept them. I don't regret having loved anyone that I have; and the photos; I have are just placeholders for my memories. I wish; I could remember more.

It doesn't matter if it is appropriate---it is the safe thing to do----what would happen if your new(pending) girlfriend found the pictures.
