NO! And the reason is because leaving your dog poo around is unsanitary and unsafe. Parvo lives in fecal matter, so when the fecal matter melts away due to the weather, the risk of Parvo has melted away too, right? No. Parvo can live for years, yes years, in the soil. If you don't know what Parvo is, it is a deadly and highly contagious virus. Dogs die from dehydration and organ failure because they have terrible vomiting and diarrhea. And Parvo isn't the only thing that can be transmitted though poo. Parasites, which humans can contract, and other nasties lurk in poo, as well. So please be a considerate dog owner and pick up the poo.

no and if you leave it on the grass or soil it'll start to grow fungus because fungus is a decomposer, so your mostly going to see mushrooms in your yard which is not good for your grass because a mushroom acts like weeds and its so unsightly to see them there. dog urine just kills the plants and leaves yellowing spots in your green grass, the acid in the pee does that to the grass. fungus usually only does that when the waste gets wet or the dog has diarreha, but ive seen dog waste that has dried up and it seemed fine. but your dog might want to eat it so you might want to clean it up. or you can step in it. thats also not a good thing.

You mean if you were to compost it or something? I wouldn't add it to the composter.
If you leave it in the yard, and it's a damp year, it's likely to just sit there and mold in the yard, and rot the grass under neath. Plus if your dog has worms, you are leaving it there to reinfect them. I would have to say, dog poop definately should be cleaned up.
