add enzyme supplements to their food, such as meat tenderizer (from the supermarket), papaya extract (a natural enzyme available at health food stores) or products from pet supply stores especially designed to help dogs digest. Mix the enzyme powder in each meal, and let it sit for 15 minutes prior to feeding it to your pet. This should eliminate the presence of anything they view as "good" in their stool.
Another way to discourage coprophagy (the medical term for eating poop) is to coat the stools with hot sauce or vinegar, thereby making the experience of eating it unpleasant (as if it seemed great thus far!). Sometimes owners have to go to the extreme measure of injecting the stool with hot sauce so the pet gets the full extent of the bad flavor. Yet another method is through products which taste good when mixed in the pet's food and eaten, but turn bitter when excreted in the pet's feces (isn't science great?). Doing this or the hot sauce method for one to two weeks is usually enough to convince a dog that their food bowl is a safer spot for snacks.

Eating poop is more often seen in females than males. Females have an instinct to keep the whelping area clean and they must stimulate the whelps to urinate and defecate, and they then consume the products. Sometimes puppies will mimic mom and begin to clean up the whelping area by eating feces and licking urine. Your puppy has taken the behavior, which usually fades when the pups go to new homes, to extremes. You may see signs later in his life of obsessive-compulsive disorder, so don't be surprised. Cleaning up as soon as possible after every dog is very good. I would also have every one of your dogs on a product such as Forbid or Distaste to alter the chemistry of the feces and make them repellent to your poop-eater. You can also add pineapple to their diets to do the same thing.

My friends dog does this and what they did was take her to the vet and the vet gave them something for her to make her poo not taste as good. Yes it works, and you must clean the yard every time she goes poo. I couldn't believe it, this a greyhound. I honestly thought it was because they didn't feed her enough, but the doc said all dogs do this, they like the taste, its gross to me, well good luck to ya.

There is a product called Deter you can buy at the pet store. You feed it to the dog and it makes the poo taste bad and they stop eating it.

If you cant pick it up immediately everytime, when she poos, go and put some vinegar on the pile and leave it. After a few times, she stop eating it.

My friend fixed that problem with her dog by keeping a spray bottle full of mouthwash. Any time she saw the dog eating poo, she'd dash up and spray his mouth full of mouthwash. It helped his breath and the unpleasant sting eventually convinced him that poo wasn't so tasty after all.

I know this sounds werid but poop is like a treat to them. I grew up on a farm and my dogs were well feed but they loved cow poop. I would suggest cleaning it up after she is done. There are dog bones that will keep her breath fresh if she is getting a little stinky.
