Hi Amber!
Glad to hear your such a dog lover! Why not go to the dog pound/shelter/humane society in your area and save a dog from being put to sleep? Sounds like you have the ideal homestead for dogs and you know how to be a pack leader! The saved dogs are always so appreciative and not too often are they lucky enough to come across someone like you! Besides the brownie points will pay off in the end! Good Luck and Good Saving!

Sounds like you already have a full house, but if you are sure you can make room for one more, please adopt one from the Humane Society or a local shelter. In my experience, they are very appreciative of being rescued from a cage and make the best pets ever!As many animals as there are out there that live a miserable life in a cage or get euthanized, its the least we can all do. P.S. maybe choose a small breed since you already have so many?

One dogs you ought to get it incredibly is a huge family participants dogs is a labrador or a golden retriever, they're very smart and hassle-free to coach. they're a greater physically powerful breed, yet they do no longer look to be aggressive as, say, a staffordshire bull terrier. although, they're prepared to guard their family participants, and are unswerving to the very end. of course, all dogs are different, yet a nicely suggested labrador is an exceedingly good determination. yet another super family participants dogs is a bloodhound. heavily, they're super dogs. they're clever and practice certainly, and are sufficiently vast to scare away any intruders. although, have confidence it or no longer, they're superb and mellow dogs. They like to be around family participants, and are super for toddlers. incredibly, the bloodhound is only as playful and unswerving because of the fact the labrador, yet with a extremely scarier look. additionally, the bloodhound is a barker, fantastically while seeing yet another dogs they don't comprehend. The blood-curdling howl would desire to be sufficient to scare off any neighbor dogs. i'm hoping this helped you.

Maybe a Hinze 57 with submissive temperament from the pound. You can find tons of dogs looking for good homes on this link http://www.petfinder.com/ Just put in your zip code and you can read about dogs in your area that are begging to be rescued.
I just happen to be reading this great book, "The Dog Listener" by Jan Fennell. She is a dog trainer and has written about her years of experience of owning multiple dogs and has some valuable information being the alpha in your dog pack. It almost makes me want to own several dogs but I'm too chicken to have more than one dog. I admire people that can handle several dogs. good luck in finding the right one to fit in your dog pack.

Well, I've always been partial to Great Danes... They are very big, but they are very loveable and enjoy being inside with the family. Alos, I am very partial to dogs from the shelter (my last three dogs have been shelter pups), they just seem to be so happy and greatful that you've rescued them and given them a forever home... Good luck on your search!!!

go to a shelter and pick the one that pulls the most of your heart strings. breed shouldn't matter, just save one who could be dead in a week!! i do not intend for this answer to sound rude, i am just a dog lover at heart who does not want to see a single one more die because people sometimes don't think to get a pet who is on death row!! i wish you much happiness with your new pet whatever you decide!!

I have a beautiful greyhound. They are excellent dogs despite the tag people generally put on them. They don't need a strenuous amount of walking or running Great with kids , and other dogs regardless of size.
