it depends..my first thought is your doing this to lose weight..

which will only backfire..the body will slow down your metabolism and go into starvation mode...so anything you do eat will be held on for a longer period of time and remain as fat.

but then perhaps your not eating is some form of fasting...which actually can cleans the body of tonixs..

I would say 18 hours is bad because I'm assumeing your counting waking hours...not the time your asleep..which could be real bad..some people..depending on their size could actually black out from lack of food

It's not really a good idea, but if you have been ill, I can understand the loss of appetite. Otherwise, it's good to eat about every 4-6 hours when you're awake, and stay active. This will keep your metabolism high and give you more energy.

the body enters starvation mode after 3-4 hours after the digestion of the last meal. the human body is not designed to be starved for such long periods of time. this is why the body enters a catabolic state and muscle mass will be sacrificed for energy and the body fat will increase.

It won't accomplish anything. You need three balanced meals per day. To lose weight, cut back on calories while still eating three balanced meals, and add plenty of regular exercise.

No,it is not bad,in fact,one day without food is good for the body as long as you keep up a good liquid intake,it will not hurt you at all.
