My cat just gave birth today to 2 beautiful kittens. One is an orange, and the other looks like a black and white cow. I am unusre about the sexes of the cats but i would like to get started on naming them. I'm looking for male/female duos, girl/ girl, and of course boy/boy. If anyone can help me I'd love it. Please don't limit yourself to common names, the more unique the better, especially if the duos have a cool story behind the names.

It's easy to tell the gender. A male would have the obvious testicles (although small at this point). My cat had kittens 2 weeks ago and I was able to tell right away. Dont forget to get all of them to the vet to be checked 24 hours after birth and feed the momma kitten food..she needs the extra nutrients.

I have a boy & girl named Jasper & Sophia (but I call her Sophia Marie and him Jasper McNasper) they are both Tuxedo Cats. Just like one of yours. I have trained them to do the oddest things that you don't normally see cats doing. Jasper will shake your hand with his paw when I request. He knows his right from his left. Sophia will drink water from the lid of a water bottle. Which has worked out good for liquid meds, I had to give her. She doesn't know the difference. They are both indoor only cats, but I like to have my doors open for fresh air. I don't have a front door screen so I taught them to sit. Yes, sit... They are not aloud to leave the front door rug. I have always just told them to sit down. All the neighbor kids stop on their way home to say hi to them every day. They wait for the kids to come by. It's the cutest thing you will every see. I use the clapping hands together when they are not doing something correct (or bad) and tell them "go to your bad kitty spots" (timeout) and they go. It really works. Start when they are young. My cats are going to be 4 yrs. old next month. I just started potty training them. It's a great way to get out of cleaning the cat box and buying cat litter. I also will teach them to flush when they are done. They truly love each other and love me. I bottle fed them with Mothers Milk from the pet store when they were babies. So they think of me as their mother. I also taught them to go to the bathroom every night at my bedtime and then they climb into bed and go to sleep when I do. No playing all night. This was the best thing ever! Well, enough about my little lovers here are some other pet names I've had. I've always owns 2 at a time they enjoy each others company. I have owned Tami & Tobi, Jazmin & Onyx, and of course Jasper & Sophia. I hope you pick these two. I have gotten a lot of complements on their names and their loving nature.
Check out this potty training website (it's great).

I always wanted to call a pair Lambert and Butler - even though i don't smoke, i think they are fantasic names.
Hansel and Grettel from the gingerbread fairytale?
Tabbitha and Talina?
Tristen and Teegan (another of my favorites)
Garfield and Odie?
i'll add more if i can think of any...
Have fun with your new bundles of joy...

I volunteered at a cat shelter for a while and there were a couple of pairs of cats named Ralph & Lauren and Butch & Cassidy. It was pretty cute - you might try something like that.

How about....Lavern and Squiggy. From Lavern and Shirley (the seventies sitcom....was it the seventies???) Or if you have two girls...you could call them Lavern and Shirley. What about Mort and Mindy for a boy girl name? God...I'm tired.
