Since T-Pop/T-Rock is becoming increasingly popular lately, I want to know if you guys think if there will be a Thai Wave to hit Asia soon like the Korean wave. By the way I think it will, since Thai movies are very popular such as Ong Bak and Tom Yum Goong leading the way. Thai pop culture is being expose cause of this and oh yeah can't forget sites like Youtube and Imeem helping out. :P

Yes I think so but it is only in Asia. Actually it is now getting high reputation, but again in Asia only. For me Thai Pop music is boring, seems like a copy of something. Sorry if this is offending. It's all my personal opinion and impression. I love this country and that's why I do not want young Thai talents to mimic but create their own with the pride of Thai.

It might take a little more time but I think yes. Unfortunately Ta Ta could not enjoy a big success despite of its big promotion. This is because her music is too westernized. But Sok Loso, Clash, Inca, Ford, and so on have touch of Thai. It makes their music very distinctive. They have a great possibility to be a huge wave to hit Asian coasts.(BTW I like Mike Piromporn, not T Pop though)
