I'd like to spruce up some plain black candle holders, and I thought that doing a mirror mosaic on them would look really nice, only I've never tried a project like this. I have done some mosaic work, but nothing intricate (just on a glass plate). I'd like to cover the entire candle stick surface with mirrors but I don't know what type of "glue" to use for them. Also, these candlesticks will be placed in my bathroom, so I don't know if humidity will be an issue.

I think I would use mastic. It is a tile adhesive to put tile on walls so it will stick right away and they will not slide around.

Sounds like the mosaic mirrors are quite small. I would try silcone rubber caulk(clear). It should be stiff enough to support the mirror tiles until the caulk cures. Once it cures it is completely waterproof.
