Garlic Cheese Bread (North Woods Inn) Recipe
Ingredients
1 pound grated cheddar cheese
2 ounces grated Romano cheese
1-1/2 pounds margarine or butter (at room temperature)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Hungarian sweet paprika
4 drops Tabasco sauce
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 loaves French or sourdough bread, sliced
Hungarian sweet paprika for sprinkling
Instructions
Combine all ingredients except the bread with an electric mixer or in a food processor. Spread cheese mixture generously on bread slices, sprinkle lightly with sweet paprika, and place under broiler until cheese is browned and bubbly. Wrap in foil to keep warm. Recipe may be halved.
This bread is supposed to be rich, soft, and gooey. It is served with greed salad with a creamy blue cheese buttermilk dressing and red cabbage salad at the restaurant.
Yield: About 12 servings
Almost Strawberry Snapple Iced Tea
Ingredients
2 quarts (8 cups) water
3 Lipton tea bags (orange pekoe and pekoe cut black tea blend)
3/4 cup granulated sugar or one 16 ounce bottle light corn syrup
1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon strawberry extract
Instructions
Boil the water in a large saucepan. When the water comes to a rapid boil, turn off the heat, put the tea bags into the water, and cover. After the tea has brewed about 1 hour, pour the sugar or sweetener into a 2-quart pitcher, then add the tea. The tea should still be warm, so the sugar or sweetener will dissolve easily. Add the flavoring ingredients (plus additional water if needed to bring the tea to the 2-quart line). Chill.
Yield: 2 quarts

The best copy cat recipe would be Bennigan's buffalo wings and Bennigan's buffalo shrimp that they used to have on their menu years ago.
I buy a box of breaded shrimp, then deep fry or bake them until they are crunchy. I mix Frank's hot sauce and a little butter together in a bowl and heat it up in the microwave until the butter melts. Then I pour the sauce over the shrimp, and serve with Marie's bleu cheese dressing.
As for the buffalo wings, I do the same for the sauce that I do for the shrimp. BUT, I season the wings with seasoned salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Then, I flour the wings and deep fry them in oil until browned. Then, I coat the wings with the hot sauce and serve with the bleu cheese dressing. Both recipes are very good clones.

I have copied many recipies from my mum, but the only one i have copied from a restraunt is this: Chicken Pesto Penne. Pretty much you need to cut chicken into cubes and brown. add DOUBLE cream basil pesto and garlic with pepper and some parmesan cheese. Mix through penne pasta and voila!! Yummy dish that you can make it healthier by relacing the double cream with low fat thickened cream a nd the basil pesto with just basil leaves, peper and some olive oil. Try it, you'll LOVE it!!

Best chicken pot pie recipe I have:
Cook chicken and dice, layer on bottom of casserole dish
put 2 hard boiled eggs, sliced on top of the chicken
layer cooked or canned carrots and 1/2 cup or so of peas.
Mix 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1 can of chicken broth, pour over layers in casserole dish.
For crust use 1 1/2 cup of bisquick and 1 cup milk and mix until finished, pour on top of chicken mixture.
Use 1/2 stick of melted butter and pour on top of bisquick mix.
Bake 350 for 35 minutes and it comes out beautifully browned, flaky and delicious........kids eat it up too!! Good luck and happy cooking!!!
