This guy was interested in me and after awhile I decided to give him a chance, he invited me to a movie, and out to lunch, I accepted both but he never followed through, only to find out later (after we stopped talking for a little bit) that he was dating his on/off again ex-girlfriend. I feel like it was rude to just drop everything like that, so should I say something to him? What? Thanks to all who reply, positive or negative.

I would say move on...this guy will end up treating you like sh*t and you'll get hurt if you continue to try and make things work. One of my really good friends was in a similar situation and was dating this guy for a while and then went back to an ex, and he was with her for a while, then after he broke it off with her, he tried calling my friend again. Guys who do that sort of thing are scum. You deserve better, so make him feel like he lost out on a good thing and don't take him back if his "net" of an ex-girfriend falls through.

Steer clear. The guy was using you on the rebound hoping to get back with his ex. Yes, I know you never went out, but he wanted to just to make himself feel better. Self-centered dude!

i think you should tell him how you feel about him just dropping you like that with pretty much no warning before or afterward. He sounds like a honest jerk if he asked you out and then doesnt say anything when he's with his on/off girlfriend. i mean, what if you guys hit it off and this girl comes back? i wouldnt want you to get hurt when youve done nothing wrong.

closure is always a good thing. ask him, but be subtle. just ask in a curious tone of voice like "hey, i was just wondering what was going on between the two of us, we went out a couple of times and then we stopped talking.." something along those lines.
