I met my boyfriend when I was 19 and he was 32. He lives in Cyprus (a Greek island) and so I can understand why my parents are a bit upset about the age difference and our dating life. Now I am 21 and he is 34 and we are still together and my parents are still upset by the fact that we are dating. They have nothing personal against him as a person--because they know he's a great guy and he treats me well, but they don't approve of the 13 year age gap and the fact that he lives far away.
Is it wrong for me to date someone that I love because he is 13 years older than me?

No offense taken by any of the comments about the distance. I completely understand where y'all are coming from.
We see each other every 2-3 months in person and he'll come in for 1-2 weeks at a time.
We make sure we have a lot of time for each other in our everyday life though. I talk to him online aout 2 hours sometimes 3 everyday and we use webcams and microphones so we can see each other and try to get rid of some of the distance. I know it's not the same, but it definately helps try to mend some of the distance.
