In Escondido they approved it but if I'm remembering right they then either decided not to enforce it until after Hazelton's law suit (it was based on that law) or else pulled it because they didn't want to go through a law suit and modified it somewhat. There have been a number of these around the country, so I am getting them a little confused.

I sure hope so. I wish the federal government had the ba.ll.s to fast-track it, and make it a policy for the entire country. It's what most of America wants.

Where I live they made one where the fee the property owner has to pay for his rental is reduced if they do background checks on their renters and its tripled if they dont do them.
