Yup, ignore the idiot up there...

I don't know if you are in Canada or the US, and whether you mean cell phone or land phones, but here we have 3 major cell phone carriers (Bell, Rodgers, Telus) who more or less have the same choice of phones. I switched recently from Nokia to Motorola, and now to UTStarcom Pocket PC. Bell is CDMA, Rodgers is GSM.

Ignore that idiot.....You have lots of choices, I use Verizon, I think it is excellent with many plan choices.They even have an option for International calling

Some people. Please ignore the guy who says get back to where you belong. You can choose any phone you would like in USA. I prefer Nextel or Sprint. Best to do research so you get the best phone for your needs and dollar. And yes Welcome hope you have a great visit.
