No, but my husband did and started snoring! I do think the Lord understands! He really had a hard week and was very tired! I kept jabbing him in the side, but he just snored louder. It was not due to a boring sermon. In fact, the sermon was very good! It was because of all the hours he put in at work. He insisted on going to church with me but it turned out he was way too tired! I wanted to stick something in his mouth to shut him up because everyone was laughing at him! He snorts when he snores! I finally was able to get him up when the sermon was over and he was very embarrassed! Poor baby!

Hello, Electric:
Yes I have, but without incident, thanks to God. There was a young man named Eutycus that fell three stories out of a evening farewell meeting. He was taken up dead, but Paul embraced him and he was fine.
How do I know it was evening? Well, there were "many lights in the upper chamber." That means it was high enough for sunlight to shine in during the day. And Eutycus fell three stories down.
I'll like to meet Eutycus one of these days--he's kinda famous for that nap. Eight disciples left before midnight and sailed all day Sunday to Assos, about 100 miles of sailing. Then Paul remained and talked until daybreak, then walked all day Sunday, about 24 miles across the isthmus to meet the the disciples.
Funny how many read the Bible and apply it to todays circumstances. Read Acts 20 yourself, and you will see that God's evangelist team was boating all day Sunday while Paul was hiking. It is difficult for us to establish Sunday sacredness among early Christians from these texts.
Blessings and AGAPE love, One Way
P.S. The other New Testament text about Sunday instructs you to work on that day. You can read about it at www.revelado.org/666.htm

Yes I have.
I used to work 3rd shift on Saturday night and was awake for over 24 hours. I finally had to give up on attending church until I could establish a better sleep schedule.

In a former church I used to go to, ya. It was liberal, dull, and boring. Now I go to a church that preaches the Bible and it is soooooooo interesting and I never have fallen asleep, even after being up all night.
