Thank all of you for your answers, but some of you do not understand that my husband is in a wheel chair paralyzed on the right side, cannot verbalize, we are both drawing social security, which is not much, he does have a small amount of workman's comp., which is not taxable. I am his 24/7 caregiver so I cannot work and leave him alone. Does that answer some of the hateful answers I got? I don't like the situation, but it's there. Gone are the days when we paid up to $45,000 in income tax in a year. So those of you who are making rude comments, just be thankful you can pay income tax!!!

Sorry you got caught up with some jerks. The form is 1040EZ-T that you'll need to use to file for your credit, even if you don't have taxable income. You can log onto http://www.irs.gov and download the form.

you got the correct answer,, file a form 1040EZT
but if you want to ask 3 more time go ahead on

the 1040EZT is for someone that does not otherwise need to file a tax return. The ONLY reason to file the 1040EZT is to get the phone tax refund.
If you have no taxable income and want to file to receive the phone tax refund,, you use the 1040EZT.......

You can call your phone company directly and ask for the refund. They will give you exactly what you were overcharged.
