Although I'm NOT a fan of tattoos (it seems like drawing on yourself with a Permanent marker would be less painful and less permanent)... If you really want to write the word "rain" on your body, Koreans actually use Chinese characters (hanmun) as well as the Korean alphabet (hangul). Koreans, Chinese and Japanese all "read" and use Chinese characters. Because Chinese characters are like pictures of the word. But, when each nationality reads a Chinese character they each have a different word for it. Here's a link for the Chinese character for RAIN. http://chineseculture.about.com/library/symbol/blcc_rain.htm

- Good Luck!

:] is correct but do you want the literal translation 비
or do you want something that sounds like Rain in Korean like 래 인, I can not find my Korean English dictionary so I do not know of that means something in Korean. Good Luck:)

Lol, you have the same name as rain or bi the korean superstar!! Do you listen to korean music or watch korean movies? I don't really know korean, is it like chinese where there are a billion ways to write 'lee'? Ask your parents. Just go to korean forums like solid07.net or z degrees. plenty of koreans there.

Rain - I would suggest finding a Korean to speak to in person and get their suggestion, I live in China and Americans are getting Chinese tattoos of Chinese characters that make the Chinese laugh their heads off, things like the character for "monthly flow of the women" b/c it sounds like their English name, be careful and make sure it is the right one, tattoos don't come off very easily, : )

The correct way to write rain in Korean is 비. But if you want to write my name is rain it would be 내 이름 은 비.
