Um if you are refering to the Christian belief then there is no Heavenly Mother who is a God-like figure. Mary maybe refered to as the Heavenly Mother, but only in the sense that she is the mother of God's son.

Well, would God know how to create a woman without first knowing what a woman looked like? He knew what a male looked like, He is one! I would take a female perspective to help with the creation of woman. I know that most christians don't believe in a Heavenly Mother, that God couldn't possibly have a companion with Him. But, if that was the case, why would He care that much about marriage, and how it should be carried out?
I do believe we have a Heavenly Mother. I know, it doesn't talk about her in the bible, so she can't possible exist!! But don't think there could possibly be somethings that God didn't put in the bible for a reason?? Maybe, just maybe, He wanted us to leave her out of things. His name is drug through the mud enough. I know I would want to protect the name of my spouse. I wouldn't want them called names, or use their name in a manner that was rude or disrespectful. I do think this is why she isn't mentioned.

It is extremely likely. Everything needs a balance. The Divine has to have balance as well. You can only create life through male and female energy. Also I don't support the idea of the Divine being only good, good and evil are human perspectives, I believe the Divine is a balance between the two. I do not believe in absolutes.

I read ancient Judaism likely had a male/female balanced concept of God.

Male and female principle. Male is constant, female is ever changing and expressive. Male holds the female in check while the female creates endlessly.
