Go to start, All Programs, Accessories scroll down list and make sure it is not there hiding or something. If not, then go to Control Panel in your start menu. Click on Add Or Remove Programs. When it's window opens, on he left from the list click on the third one down Add/Remove Window Programs. Highlight Accessories and Utilities by clicking on it , then click the details button (down to the right), click accessories and details again and a list will pop up with the paint program in it. Check the box next to it with your space bar, then click OK on the bottom right. Wait for it to install and go back to the first place I said to check and it should be there. If not you can go to nonags and download a similar program for free. Good luck!

You'll need the windows install CD. Go to the start menu, then the control panel, and then Add/Remove programs. Select Add/Remove windows components. Select Accesories/Utilities. Then select accesories. Scroll down to the very bottom and select Paint. Then click ok. It will prompt you to insert your windows CD.
You may need to restart the computer afterwards- but don't quote me on that.

Start\Run, mspaint.exe If it opens, you have it but you lost the shortcut. If you want to restore it, you will have to open C:\WINDOWS\system32 and also open C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories, then you will have to right drag mspaint.exe to C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories and make a shortcut here.
