sorry that so many people took the oppertunity to take a cheap shot at your weight gain...

it could merely be stress...the brain releases hormones/chemicals when we are stressed out..which in turn tells the body to conserve..store up for the winter...don't burn as hot etc..
do you find your life has gotten more stressful of late?

it could be allergies...I find that I tend to retain water..get thirstier..desire to eat more when certain pollens are in the air.
check the pollen map on sites like weather.com from the weatherchannel..it is good at showing day when pollens like tree/mold/grass etc are heavy in your area

I seriously doubt that food alone is what is affecting your weight gain....perhaps it is an outside force such as a new medication?

There's probably something else you're not sharing here, or your diet is completely horrible.

Losing weight is a duel process, not only do you have to eat well balanced meals, but you have to exorcise to keep your metabolism low. When weighty people simply cut their meals in half with no exorcise, their metabolism naturally gets lower so their body burns off the calories just as slow as it would with more food. The result is a food crazed person who has lost a minimal amount of weight.

Some people cut their diets so severely that they do lose some weight, but if you do this you have high chances of developing an eating disorder.

Inversely, if you exorcise a lot but eat horribly, then it will also cancel out your metabolism by overloading your body with empty calories.

I can tell you that when all I did was exercise alone, i gained weight faster than when I wasn't exercising. You really need to change your diet as well. Not just the types of food but when you eat as well. Eating late at night or right after you work out will cause you to gain weight. Trust me, I did this the first time I tried working out and gained 30 pounds in just a couple of months.

You are eating more calories than you are expending.

Weight loss comes down to a unalterable physical equation: Calories in - Calories out = Calories gained or lost.

If the number is positive, you will gain weight.
If the number is negative, you will lose weight.

Whatever you ARE eating adds up to more calories than you are expending.

I have heard many people estimate the number of calories they consume, and they are off wildly. To state that "I only eat 800 calories a day and I still gained 5 pounds last week" ignores physics. It's like saying "I drove my car 500 miles and only put a gallon of gas in, and the tank was more full after I drove than when I started."

Try writing down the exact amounts of foods you eat for 3 days, then use a reputable site on the net to estimate your calories. You'll likely be amazed.

If you drink any drinks with sugar in them, that is an easy fix. 3 cans of soda a day = 500 calories = 1 pound of fat a week. Drop the soda, drop a pound a week, 50 pounds in a year. Not bad!

A person will gain weight if they consume more than 30% of their daily calories in fat. For instance, if on a 1,500 calorie diet no more than 450 of the calories should come from fat. The balance of calorie intake breaks down like this, 55% from cabs, 15% from protein. To lose weight a 1,000 to 1,200 calorie intake is recommended. When eating to lose weight the fat intake can be reduced to 20% of total calories. That's 240 calories of fat for a 1,200 calorie diet. The balance would be 65% carbs, 15% protein.

WOW! well it's not only about eating and exercing. it's how you use both. you should have a big breakfast and have a med, launch and a small dinner. as for execise you should do upper body m/tu/fri and lower wed/thur/sat and make sure u do cardio of 15-20 min everyday exept sun.. sunday should be a break day. and the biggest thing is to never let your self stay hungry. if you have to eat small snaks.

you could possibly have a health issue. for instance i started gaining weight last year and i was doing everything in my power to lose weight. it turns out that i have a thyroid problem and having this it did effect every part of my body including gaining weight. so maybe you should go see a doctor and talk to him about this situation.

It could be genetics, an overactive thyroid, or the food you are eating. if you are getting rolls then you need to see a doctor but it is most likely from the processed food you are eating.

if by exercise you mean go to mcdonalds LOL

no just kidding
perhaps your metabolism is catching up with you, however your diet is probably very UNHEALTHY if you are getting "fat rolls" in just two weeks
