Yes. To me, it isn't a belief in Christ that makes you a Christian. A lot of Christian sects will say if you don't believe _____ you aren't a Christian, but by those standards, the early believers in Christ wouldn't have been Christian either, in fact Christ wouldn't have been Christian.
Christ taught love, tolerance and doing good to our fellow man. To me, that doesn't mean you should just write off someone else because they don't have the exact same belief you do. It means we should love everyone, no matter what they believe and just understand that they are children of God too, and they need us to love them no matter what. I think that if everyone would just understand that someone can believe something that you may not, they are still a person. Someone God loves. No matter what we think, we aren't the judge of them. We should all strive to be more tolerant of others and more able to just let them believe what they will. It won't hurt me any if they are a different religion then I am, it just gives me more opportunity to learn something from them.

It is possible to follow Jesus and not behave badly or suffer from brain freeze because of it. But it takes faith. Faith that God can't be petty, jealous, vindictive, casting blame on a creature for his own creation, creating beings to be a certain way, and then forbidding them to be that way. Making thinking a sin, doubt a sin, exploration of ideas a sin. If you can't have faith that God wouldn't do anything stupid or cruel, then you'll be unable to really worship or love God, because your fear will always get in the way. Then you'll probably resemble some of those unfortunate souls that create the caricature we're all so over-exposed to on YA.

I dont get it... it is antagonism, but maybe you meant if someone can be a Christian, that means believe in His teachings, and yet not be the type of Christians that have the Bible ready to shoot verses on other people??
Yes. I am a Christian, I believe in Jesus, but I have Allan Kardec books as a reference for my religion. Jesus is a Master, a Teacher, an example to be followed.
Peace!

To be called a Christian one must subscribe to Christ as being the ONLY way to God! The only way to obtain salvation is through the precious blood of Christ the Lord! Any other way is NOT the Christian way!

No they can't!!! If they did this, they would NOT be a Christian. We are told the only way to the Father is through His Son... who is Immanul (Jesus Christ).
