Has anyone ever been on the drug Pamelor?

When I took it for the first time I slept 17 hours and I am wondering is this normal.

It is usual for pamelor to cause confusion and other CNS effects but I believe this to be excessive. You should not drink alcohol or other CNS depressants with pamelor. I think you should call your doctor because you can't have a normal life if you sleep 17 hours each day...there are other meds you can try.
