Im going on a school trip on the other side of the country; and we arent allowed to bring hair straighteners. what are other alternatives?

you could use a blow dryer. or if you are really desperate, you could get it permanently straightened.

Do you mean that you can't bring a chemical straightener (relaxer) along? If that is the case, you can probably bring an electric straightening comb along. If all else fails, bring a good blow dryer with a nice comb attachment on your trip.

u can do a wrap but it takes time and u might want to waste it.
u use good ethic gel and in a circled pattern from right to left or left to right us a comb and apply the gel and use alot and i mean alot while combing in circled pattern and done that is when u can thin out the gel. then us wrap paper or the neck stripe for your neck when u vut hair ( cheap at hair store) blow dry someway and soon its completely dry the use oil sheen and easily comb out of the circle pattern. just make sure u start where u ended. good luck

What you can't bring a flat iron? Are blow dryers allowed? Get one with a comb attachment, that works well.

My aunt suggested this to me but I haven't actually tried this.
Buy some perming chemicals and apply it to your hair then comb it straight nonstop until it's dry. It worked for my aunt...she had slightly wavy hair and afterwards it became straight
