Because people with "faith" are merely admitting that they are entrusting their entire life to unproven, illogical nonsense.
If that weren't religion, those people would be in a nuthouse.

I'd love to get that answer. I don't try to force my faith on anyone. I just answer the questions the way I believe. I don't criticize people for not believing. And I really don't understand if someone doesn't believe how they can question it? If they don't believe there should be nothing to question should there? I believe God is working through here somehow with the unsure people (the ones who do question and even make fun). And I think He will suceed with at least some.

Actually the brain does not know what it is doing. It simply makes comparisons; between what is pleasureable and comforting compared to what is painful and discomforting. It, the brain, does not know what is good or bad. The only way the brain can feel its decisions are right, is to imagine that thoughts contrary to its decisions are wrong.
Effects on us: If we can prove our adversary is lesser, then we feel, by deduction, that we are greater.
Only after we are born again into a personality and justice system of never holding a grudge, and never seeking revenge, can we escape that original sin of selfishness that feels justified in not forgiving anyone who has hurt us.
Jesus tried to teach us to forgive each other, but even his disciples just didn't get it. So Jesus finally warned us;
"If you do not forgive others, your father in Heaven will not forgive you". -- That is the clearest verse in the Bible.

They were likely raised by ability of those with their personal set of bigoted notions and prejudices. human beings have a tendency to stay their dad and mom' scripts, so if mom and dad bash Catholics and hate Jews, that's what the youngster grows up attending to understand to do. i have heard little young ones -- some decrease than 6 years old -- calling human beings some undesirable issues and retaining that they hate all (fill in the clean with the racial or non secular slur of decision.) All i visit figure is they're attending to attain it from dad and mom, relatives, and the media.

My walk with GOD is my walk and when someone is ready or wants to they will start theres, BUT when they are ready

some people may make fun of those with faith of being sissies because they don't believe they have anything to believe in. and another reason that they may be making fun of them is that the people preaching don't always practice what they preach and that makes them think that they are trying to preach something that isn't real and they think it is just a joke.

To ridicule or condemn people to hell is not very nice. To be criticised constructively is the issue for me. If there is a pragmatic basis for criticism then I encourage it. If not, then it is simply bugging people away from the organised religion and draws their wrath. If organised religions divide people then what good service does it provide?

Because they are desperate to be converted on something that makes sense to them... Sarcasm is the way they disguise their own lack of assurance on what they say they think. Besides this is their chance to be funny and smart. Probably in their real life, there's nothing good going on... they are bored. Here, they show the side of their personality that they dont show to anyone else. Here, they are behind the Avatar pictures and nick-names, so they think they can do anything silly, that nobody can judge the real them. They are certainly opressed in their jobs and/or family and they feel free here.
Dont let them hurt you... Let them express their frustration...
Peace!

Most believers only have faith so long as they can state that attempting to prove that God exists is in itself a sin. If you have faith, you must jump off a cliff and God will save you. If you don't jump, you have no faith.

Very few believers here have faith. The vast majority of them claim instead that they have proof, or at least evidence. That's outright dishonest, and deserving of criticism, particularly as they typically make that claim in the most arrogant way they can manage.
I'm perfectly fine with people having religious faith, but frankly, it looks like most believers who come here do so solely to attack people who have different beliefs from their own.
