Yes. Jesus drank wine.
But is says in Ephesians 5:18
"Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit."
It clearly states in the Bible to no get drunk. It never says that drinking is bad, just drunkeness.
The way I see it, I dont want to do anything that interferes with God's will for me.
If I am drunk, I am in a different state of mind and dont exactly control what I do, and God doesnt want that and Im sure thats not what he intended for my life.
I want to make my God happy and getting drunk doesn't please him.
So I hope I helped, but drinking socially (without getting drunk) is perfectly fine.

It is apparent that wine is one of the gifts included among Jehovah’s blessings to mankind. Wine “makes the heart of mortal man rejoice”; it puts the heart in “a merry mood.” (Ps 104:15; Es 1:10; 2Sa 13:28; Ec 2:3; 10:19; Zec 10:7) Hence, Daniel when in mourning drank no wine. (Da 10:2, 3) An abundant supply of wine, symbolized by the “vine” in the oft-repeated expression ‘sitting under one’s own vine and fig tree,’ denotes prosperity and security under Jehovah’s righteous rule. (1Ki 4:25; 2Ki 18:31; Isa 36:16; Mic 4:4; Zec 3:10) Wine is also included in the restoration blessings promised by Jehovah.—Joe 3:18; Am 9:13, 14; Zec 9:17.
From time immemorial wine has been used as a beverage at mealtimes. (Ge 27:25; Ec 9:7) Wine, bread, and other foods are often associated together. (1Sa 16:20; Ca 5:1; Isa 22:13; 55:1) Melchizedek set “bread and wine” before Abraham. (Ge 14:18-20) Jesus drank wine with his meals when it was available. (Mt 11:19; Lu 7:34) Wine was very much a part of banquets (Es 1:7; 5:6; 7:2, 7, 8), wedding feasts (Joh 2:2, 3, 9, 10; 4:46), and other festive occasions (1Ch 12:39, 40; Job 1:13, 18). The royal commissaries were stocked with wines (1Ch 27:27; 2Ch 11:11); it was the customary beverage of kings and governors. (Ne 2:1; 5:15, 18; Da 1:5, 8, 16) Travelers often included it in their provisions for a journey.—Jos 9:4, 13; Jg 19:19.

Yes I think it's ok.
However, since I started teaching I don't even do it once in a while because of Romans 14:21 It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother to fall.
The first miracle was the water into wine....John 2:3-11
This one says not to get drunk but doesn't say don't drink.
Eph 5:18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.

Yes I believe its perfectly fine. In the Bible, Jesus attended a wedding. He turned the water into wine. I don't think he is against a beer here and there or a glass of wine. During communion at church we are given wine to represent Jesus's blood given for our sin.

Drinking in moderation and not everyday hurts no one and infact even the Bible says that a little wine is good for the body and indeed it is, although I don't like wine.
Anything done to excess is bad for you. It is possible to drink enough water and drown, I forget the exact term for it but it is possible.
There are various "Christian" denominations that are opposed to drinking and they base their reasons on a few verses of the Bible taken out of context.

i dont drink because i dont think its wise. do i think its a sin? no because you wont find that in the Bible. however, i stay away from it because, well honestly, i dont trust myself :D
- Prov 31: 4 - It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink: Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
Romans 14:21- It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
Ephesians 5:18 - Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit..."
- how do you become drunk? - one drink to many.

I think it's okay to drink alcohol now and then.
But if it causes your judgment to be impaired or would cause someone to think you were being a hypocrite, then stay away from it in public. Also, please don't drink and drive!!!
I personally don't have problems with a drink now and then. I do myself from time to time, only I limit myself literally to no more than one drink and then I only drink probably 3 or four drinks per year. Basically I consider a drink a treat, and that means in moderation.

'Wine' in Bible times, actually means grape juice-like beverage that is not fermented.
Proverbs 20:1 wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
Proverbs 23:31 look not upon wine when is it red, when it giveth his colour in the cup(meaning fermenting)...

I cannot say but read one other review about Jesus turning water into wine and... well, I agree with that person. But, from learning what I've learned from my parents.. alchohal turns even the most repectful men into complete schoundrals. actaully thats from Pirates of the carribian. But it is humorus, and I hope you see my point... Not to much! People have commited murder and waken up in jail and not known what they did.
